a folder for memories

Posted on

Rummaging through photos from previous years, I’ve come to realise that I have very few photos to look back to. Especially those of me in school! Which is weird because obviously I take more photos as I grow older but I have hardly any left to look at. And what’s even weirder is that I have so many photos of me sleeping in different positions, drinking milk, etc. when I was three and younger. My mum was clearly super busy back then, being my personal photographer and all.

I was thinking about how to make my post about my birthday (which will come soon!), slightly different than what you guys would expect. So I eventually decided to start off with showing some pictures of how my birthdays were spent year by year since I’ve started studying at KTJ. Unfortunately, or fortunately for me because I was at the peak of puberty and I don’t think I have to explain any further, I couldn’t find any. Well, any but this..

I hope someone gave me a comb that year. Look at my hair! Actually, don’t.

I look confused while Haiqal looks so happy. Probably because so much weight had been taken off of his shoulders at this point of time as he no longer has to keep the secret about a surprise.

I don’t want to lose anymore memories. I want to be able to show the future generation(s) of my family how my life was. Just like how my parents and grandparents do. So, I transferred all my photos from 2014 into my laptop, created a folder and now all photos from 2014 are safely kept! But I do want to print them out soon and keep it in an album so when I feel like getting emotional someday, I can flip through the pages and reminisce the good times. What am I going on about….
