SELAMAT HARI RAYAAAAA!

I’ve been MIA for way too long and it is completely unacceptable, I know and I’m sorry. I’ve been meaning to tell you guys about my Raya but that will be done in a slightly more different manner. Give me a day or two to get it all prepared, alright? Meantime, I’ll tell you the story behind my Raya outfit on the 1st of Syawal. Wahhhh, ada story okay.

Wearing top from Zara, skirt from AshhAnnas, heels from Aldo and earrings from Primark

Every year, I must admit, I spend just a little too much on clothes for Raya. Stop judging, you do too. Then I realise that my previous Raya clothes just snoozes in my cupboard at home, untouched. I don’t want this year’s Raya outfit to also be treated the same!

A really really close family friend gave my sister and I a few skirts from his store FOR FREE!! Thank you so much Abang Annas, you d’bomb. They were all of very pretty colours and both Ameera and I loved it so so much. Then one fine day, I walked into Zara and saw three blouses arranged on the same rack and they were so cute and raya-friendly, so.. I bought them. I knew right away that I could pair those up with the skirts at home. There and then, I felt such a relief knowing that my Raya outfits are all already sorted out. YAYYY!

One part of the outfit was free, so that was like a bonus, and another was at a good price, then just add on some accessories I already have at home and grab a suitable pair of heels then I’m good to go. This year, my whole Raya outfit costs as much as a simple blouse on sale. You’re welcome, Daddy.

Best part is, I can wear the tops and bottoms separately as well! Well done, Athisha. *pats myself on the back*
