green screen booths

Posted on

You know those photobooths where the photographer snaps a few pictures of you posing in front of a green screen which will then be edited to become a super cool background. Then you pay a ridiculous price to get a photo of you and Winnie the Pooh or you being eaten by a shark printed. These booths used to fascinate me. I saw my first one when I was at Gold Coast and made everyone wait for me while I knelt down before the green screen and reached my hand out awkwardly while doing the OMG-I’m-so-scared face (also awkwardly). It was meant to be me trying to tame a tiger. How believable.

Yesterday, I came across one of these booths and couldn’t help but smile at the thought of how awesome they used to be to me. I scanned through the photos previously taken and came across this.

I burst out laughing immediately ever so rudely but but, whyyyyy…Whyyyy can’t I just take a picture with the real KLCC especially as it was just a few minutes away. I wonder how many people would choose this background over Elsa’s castle or an alien’s spaceship.
