eyedrops over chocolates

You might already know this, you might not. I’ll say it anyway. Haiqal and I have been with each other for nearly 55 months. Usually, couples know each other for two to three years and decide it’s time to get married. We’re still young, guys. I’m not typing this to invite you to my wedding. Don’t freak out. I just started my second term at college and Haiqal is on his second last one. We still have a long way to go before any wedding bells can be heard.

I remember when my classmates had crushes on him before we even spoke to each other and thinking “he’s not THAT good looking, ok!” If only I knew, few months forward, I would be the one who wouldn’t shut up about the boy. Nothing has changed there.

Every year, on his birthday, I try to do something different. This is his final year here so I scrapped the whole idea of having a big surprise, I made it just for him and I instead. This is what I did..

I’m so funny sometimes. Hehehe. Even Haiqal thought so this time so, I was funny.

Moving on, I was at a pharmacy a few days ago, I saw eyedrops and it said “for tired eyes” on the box and I instantly thought of Haiqal. His eyes always give him problems so I thought he should maybe give it a shot. So yesterday, we met up so I could pass it to him and noticed every other couple exchanging chocolates and flowers and teddy bears (it was Valentine’s day), and then there was us, giving each other eyedrops. Clearly, we’re the most romantic ones. Hahaha.

When I reached my boarding house, he texted me asking if I’ll always love him. I replied saying “of course.” He said, “Just wanted to confirm my subscription.” -____-”
